Food Roulette

A friend of mine showed me this video about a man who is a somniloquist, or one who talks in his sleep.  The subject of the monologue happens to be about a very new craze- food roulette. If you thought Russian Roulette couldn't be more dangerous or more intense, think again.  What could be more dangerous then a 1 in 6 chance of getting a bullet in the head? How about a poisonous eclaire!!! Listen on to find out the rules of the game and hilarity will ensue.

The O.C. on DVD

Every season of The O.C. is $16.99 over at Amazon. This is the best price that they have been since they were released.

The O.C. @ Amazon

I would suggest buying them.

Teeth: The final frontier

Did you know that an average toothbrush only is supposed to last for 3 months but that the typical user replaces there toothbrush once a year? The source comes from a consumer behavior text book that JB is reading.  That sounds pretty disgusting to me.  They even invented blue dye so that you would know when to throw yours out. I personally try and change mine twice a year or so and I have never actually gotten a cavity or needed any oral surgery at all (yet).  This could be a scheme from toothbrush companies (oral-b, or colgate, etc.) to get people to buy more of their product.  However, what happens if its not?  think about how disgusting that actually is.  You are using something that goes into your mouth 3oo% more then you are supposed to. What else do people use 300% longer then they are supposed to? I can't think of any disgusting examples to shock you with right now, but you get the picture.  Do you want to chance it, or do you want to do what JB does and buy an Oral-B Pulsar which loses battery life after a month and a half. The choice is yours. I for one, had nothing better to write about.

P.C. Richard & Son

That store is simply ridiculous. I don't mind smaller chains competing with big box stores like Circuit City and Best Buy but PCR&S's prices don't make any sense at all. I went into the store to see if they were offering a discount on Sony's VGN-TZ170 that they have on displey. This is a discontinued model that currently ranges in price from about $2,000 to $2,200 so it made sense that PCR&S had been selling it for $2,099 before it was discontinued. I had looked at this model in the store before and asked the sales associated why the screen had cracks and spots in it. He said it is just because it is a fragile computer and that happens when people use it at the store. W
hen I went to look at the price tag yesterday, I noticed that the $2,099 is for the display model. They are trying to selling a discontinued laptop with a broken screen for retail price?

That's just lame.

Self-Checkout at Food Emporium

I purchased two salad dressings yesterday for a total cost of $5.98 at Food Emporium. I used the self-checkout because there were no lines and I was only getting two items. Anyway, after scanning my items and repeatedly putting in the one dollar bill because the machine wouldn't accept it, the machine told me my change was two cents. However, it only gave me back one cent. I didn't bother telling anyone that it gave me the incorrect amount of change because I didn't really care about the extra penny nor did I have time to get it back but a machine malfunction is a pretty big deal. I don't think I would have said anything unless the error was over 36 cents.

Would you have told someone about the problem? What's the minimum amount of change that you'd wait for to get refunded?
